I just recently finished reading Bonhoeffer by Eric Metaxas. It took me about six months to possibly a year to finish this book. I read it off and on between other books and a busy school and political schedule. I really found it fascinating and interesting throughout and especially towards the middle all the way to the end. I love reading about historical figures and heroic people that have come before.

I Surrender All
All to Jesus I surrender
All to Him I freely give
I will ever love and trust Him
In His presence daily live
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to Thee, my blessed Savior
I surrender all

A Psalm of Life
WHAT THE HEART OF THE YOUNG MAN SAID TO THE PSALMIST
Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream! -
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.

Just recently over the weekend, my Family and I traveled to the

paintings of Norman Rockwell.
A Day at the State Capitol
Saturday, February 16, 2013
Hello Everybody! It has been quite a while since I have last been here to post.
This past week we visited our Arkansas State Capitol for Homeschool day. Many homeschool families came to spend the day at the Capitol. Families toured the Capitol and brought homemade desserts for their State Representatives and State Senators. It was quite a fun day of volunteering , seeing friends, meeting with State Legislators, and getting to watch the House in session.

October 31st: Reformation Day
Wednesday, October 31, 2012
Today is Reformation Day, the day Martin Luther posted his 95 theses to the door of the Catholic church in Germany. He wrote this document in objection to many of the customs and teachings of the Catholic Church. With Martin Luther, we also celebrate the reformers that came after him.
